Catfish Sam's

Love this place. Have eaten here since the 60s when it was a Mexican restaurant. Owned by same family. Best Catfish anywhere. Love the "set up" with beans, cole slaw, and relishes. Yum.

Amazing. There were 40 cars outside and a line that went out the door. They still had us seated within 10 minutes and the food was great. Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely return.

This place was a delightful surprise. I can not say enough great things about it but here I go. Our server was wonderful, seems like she had been there quite awhile. She brought us our drinks followed by these great beans and I believe something similar to hush puppies but better. Steaming hot which is a 10 plus for me. The food, which I opted for the catfish. The taste was excellent. The portion was perfect, I thought of ordering a bigger plate of the catfish, but glad I did not because I could barely finish what I had. This place did not disappoint. Can not wait to go back. I do not live in that city but it will be the first eatery I go to when am there.

My 3rd visit there and each time I go I'm never disappointed. I've went twice in 2019 and then I went once again years and years ago. Fish is always excellent so is the shrimp and they have this set up which I love. I am not a coleslaw person I don't like it I've never liked it until I came here to catfish Sam's. This is the only place I will eat coleslaw it is divine! I would recommend this placeto anyone!!!!! the hush puppies are fabulous and rolls are out of this world

An unexpected gem! This place is very old school. You get a spread of pickles, Cole slaw, pinto beans and breads to start. The entrees quickly arrived and we're delicious as well. Add in cheap prices and great service and you have a recipe for success. I'll definitely be back!
