CJ's Hen House

Tried it out this a.m. with my mom and two kids. Service was awesome! My son had a breakfast burrito bigger than his face and my daughter had chocolate pancakes. Mom had an old fashioned egg breakfast and I had a unique chicken egg benedict plate with the sloppy hash. It was really good! Chicken was super fresh and plate had all the flavors. Sloppy hash was a nice twist with cream cheese and peppers. We were seated right away which was nice, but have a feeling once the word gets out about this place it is going to be super busy. We will return with my husband to try out lunch!!

Absolutely Amazing.

Not only do we see great service here but it is big portion small price.
With that being said here is what is wrong with the place... Nothing.
Their POS service is up to date, fast ordering, easy on the eyes staff, and one heck of a trained staff in the back. I love an atmosphere where I can talk to the staff unhindered by oppressive force of a whip cracking GM and this place was perfect. Everyone knew their job, they were happy and they served perfect orders without complaints the entire time I was there. This tells me they love what they do and THAT is the mark of a good GM. This place will go far. Mark my words we will see this place for years if not decades. The owners of this place need to give me a frequent eater card because I'm within walking distance there and we all know what that means!

First time visit; met friends here for Sunday brunch. Place was busy but they seated us promptly and kept the coffee cups full. My Rooster on the Roof (chicken-fried steak and eggs) was good and my wife liked her Denver omelette. Quaint man-cave decor.

I had heard the place was good. Visited with my aunt. Had the Rooster plate. Definitely generous on the portions, excellent chicken fried steak (and I know my cfs!!), and the sloppy hash has to be tried to be understood, explanations simply don't do it justice. The chef/owner came out to visit, and his personality alone would make me want to go back even if the food hadn't been excellent. Service? ✔ Atmosphere? ✔ Food? ✔ Location? ✔ That's a grand slam homer for me!

We really enjoyed our breakfast at CJs! The portions were large and all of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Our food came pretty quick. I had the Denver omelette, which was great and a waffle. I'm a big guy and was stuffed. My wife loved the chicken fried steak with the sloppy hash. She said the sloppy hash could be a meal on its own. The staff was also very kind and attentive. Very clean and neat overall atmosphere. A must go to in Arlington. Hopefully there will be more parking as on a busy day it might be hard to a park.
