Wow! What a great dining Experience. The Tres Leches Chicken and Waffles are addictive.. You definitely have to try their Hen Toast with powdered sugar and strawberries I've visited multiple times and never had a bad meal. Hot food with great flavors The owner Jaime comes out and greets everybody and is passionate about his food and the process. Kelly, Teri and the waitstaff are very attentive and always brings a smile CJ Henhouse is a "Top Recommend" and a great value with awesome prices. They're located on South Cooper in Arlington and is worth the trip! KW

CFS was fabulous. My wife loved her blueberry mimosa. The owner made us a special pineapple waffle for dessert that was to die for. Staff was super friendly. Cannot recommend enough.

Had the Rooster. Loved it! I know my CFS, and this one was one of the best I've ever had. The Sloppy Hash was also delicious, and different. Due to dietary restrictions, I had to pick out the peppers, but so worth it! As The Governor says in Terminator, "I'll be back!"

Visited the first time over the weekend for lunch. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. The CFS was very good and met the key qualifications: crispy light crust sticks to the steak, steak very tender and could be cut with a fork, cream gravy with a shade of brown from the grease used to cook it. The mashed potatoes had the peels and had a delicious garlicky (but not overpowering) flavor. The corn was a half cob and even though a pat of butter was offered to me by the server, it had a buttery flavor already. My wife had the grilled ham and cheese sandwich and she said it was very good. The servers were friendly and attentive, even checking on us when it wasn't her table. The owner came by to check on us and spent some time with us sharing ideas he has for this new establishment. My only feedback I would like to offer is that the wait was a bit long while the CFS wasn't as hot at it should be. It wasn't cold, but I prefer it to be a tad bit warmer. We look forward to returning and trying breakfast and that messy hash brown concoction we read about.
