Ice Box Cafe

Had a quick breakfast here. It hit the spot.

Nice, clean, bright efficient cafe with a small seating area (electrical outlets at every table). Hot roasted chicken sandwhich hit the spot. Chicken was soft and tender, toasted focacia bun was also fresh and flavorful. Sit and enjoy the tarmac view or grab a prepared sandwhich or salad on the run to your next gate change. Baked goods also available. Paid $15.59 for a hot sandwhich, chips and 20oz. bottled soda. Not cheap (it's the airport) but completely worth it given the quality of the food and service. Definitely a step above typical airport food. Only downside was the place was short-staffed with only one worker which limited what could be ordered. The server, Veronica, was terrific despite the lack of help. Will definitely eat here again.

I got the largest oatmeal cookie I've ever had here. They bake all of there desserts on site according too the staff. For airport prices, it wasn't too much of a mark up for something quick.

A good place to have a quick breakfast at the airport. We had an early morning flight and this cafe was the closest to Gate 5, so we thought to give it a shot.

Food:
They have a huge variety of desserts. We went for a Raspberry White Chocolate Muffin and a Veggie Sandwich and a Cappuccino. Raspberry White Chocolate Muffin was great. The taste was good and it was quite crumbly. Loved it. Veggie Sandwich was a little shy on seasoning, so we had to add salt and pepper from the top. The taste, otherwise, was good. I am, in particular, not a fan of Cappuccino but trusting my wife's opinion, the coffee was quite good.

Ambiance:
The place is quite spacious and bright. There is a good amount of seating available and a TV running in case you are getting bored. They have high chairs available as well. Overall, I liked the place in terms of seating.

Staff:
The staff is good and service is decently paced. Nothing much to complain about.
