Heim Barbecue

Today was my second visit to Heim. My first experience several weeks ago was decent. Friendly and helpful staff, decent brisket with a nice flavor and moist pork ribs. Unfortunately on my second visit today the brisket lacked the flavor of my first experience and the turkey was dry and inedible. I did address this with the team at Heim and they replaced my turkey with more dry turkey. I will return as this is a decent local business in Fort Worth, but consistency isn’t their strong suit. Stick with the bacon burnt ends, sides, and sandwiches and you will likely enjoy your meal here.

The sliced brisket is delicious. You can not go wrong. The turkey is great. They have very good sauces too. The only thing I was not really impressed with was their sides. They were average even the macaroni.

Been waiting for Heim on the river to open, first time trying all the goodies. I got the 2 meat plate with brisket and Bacon burnt ends with Mac n cheese and loaded potato salad. Also banana pudding. Everything was great, although I didn't care for the potato salad. Your employee Natalie went above and beyond and let me try the greens to replace it. They were much better. Service here is great! Kudos to Natalie for her attentive service, to not just me but everyone around me. I'll be back!

Wanted this to be great. Particularly given the line to get in. The brisket had no smoke flavor at all. Tasted like roast beef. Incredibly fatty. The ribs were dry, dry, dry. I'm giving it 3 stars bc the potato salad and mac and cheese were good. Do Not Get The Cole Slaw. We had Panther City BBQ recommended to us. Wished we'd gone there.????

Great cut brisket sandwich with the sweet tasting bread and loaded potato skins. Cole slaw was good but not as sweet and creamy as I like.
Load baked potato salad was different but really good .
Had the extra sauce at the table and it had a sweet kick to it that I like as well.
Every thing was clean and well kept. The service was similar to a five star restaurant and they were busy.
