Freebirds World Burrito

I am currently here and while in line I witnessed an upset customer... she was upset because the person making her husbands burritos “ forgot to come back to her” I’m guessing she doesn’t know how these burrito places work and that there’s other employees who can also make your order even if your together... well another employe spent 5 minutes asking her if she had been helped trying to make her burrito but she insisted that the man making her husbands burrito needed to make it because they are together. He was also working the grill so that’s just a ridiculous request. If someone is willing to help you take the help. She asked for the manager complaining about her experience they comped her drinks and offered to comp her meal. She threw a fit saying she didn’t want free things and to go back and charge her. I’m writing this post because I’m so IMPRESSED with how this team handled a awful excuse for a human being. Not one raised their voice and really tried to make her happy. I wanted t smack that lady so I’m very impressed. I have worked in customer service for a long time and know it’s impossible to
Please everyone but they really tried. Just wanted to write this because if she’s as awful and ruthless as she was in person than it would not surprise me if she wrote a nasty review. thank you free bird employee for your composure and kindness!!

Great food. Awesome atmosphere. Excellent customer service. If there is a mistake, they make it right.

Always delicious! The staff are friendly and love to bond with you and chat, the music is varied and not too loud and the meals are totally customizable. Truly something for everyone.

I'm calling it fair because I'm sure the food is delicious. I started going to Freebirds about 20 years ago, when the one in College Station was the only one in Texas. Since then, this has been my worst experience at any location.
You need a new manager. It was Friday night, 90 minutes before close when I got there. There had apparently been a rush just before, but there were very few people in front of me. I waited at least 5 minutes for someone to come start my order because only two trays were clean. There are no clearly-defined roles for the employees except the cook who takes care of the hot ingredients. But even he was unprepared, because no one was letting him know when they were running low on supplies.
No pep, bad attitudes, and I could clearly see that the team has animosity between each other.
If there was a manager on duty (Friday night, not long before close, there SHOULD BE a manager), I couldn't tell. And, even if there WASN'T, the team should be so well-trained, that they don't NEED one. This was very discouraging.
