Pizza here is something different but very well imagined. Other plates I tasted were, uh ok. Seemed like they forgot the salt in some of the basic pasta dishes. The atmosphere is very lively. A hidden secret is that is you want fresh herbs is that you can go to there garden and pick your very own. Differently will have to go back and try this hidden gem again to see if the chef just was off this day I went.
This place is a perfect hangout when weather permits some outdoor time. They have a huge outdoor section with seating and games.
The food (in true Tim Love fashion) is always unique. We tried the octopus, and it was the bomb... Seriously.
Food was delicious, service was great. Server was there when we needed her, answered questions promptly, made good suggestions. Lots of outdoor seating, so if you are looking to sit inside, expect a wait. I was there with a friend at 1p on a Sunday, no wait. Cocktails are a tad pricey, but worth it.
We finally got the opportunity to try this place. Most of the stuff Tim Love does is usually pretty good. They don't have a lot of tables and they don't take reservations so plan on waiting. Some of the seating is outside too so keep that in mind this summer. There is very limited space at the bar as well so come early. The drink was had with tequila was refreshing and there is a decent beer selection.
When we got seated, we had the opportunity to try a few of the appetizers. We got the crudo and the mozzarella sticks. Both were excellent. For my main course, I went with the Alfredo with a nice piece of fried chicken on it. Some of the dishes have the classic rattle snake sausage that is so good too.
What I like about this place is that portions are sized correctly. You don't get a heaping plate of pasta like you would at the Olive Garden. If that's what you are looking for, don't go here. The portions are sized perfectly. The place is also quite reasonably priced. Four of us ate here for under $200 and that was with a bottle of wine as well.
Incredible service. Amazing food. A must for Fort Worth locals and visitors. Highly recommend the shaved zucchini salad (and I added chicken!) Chef Tim Love has truly knocked it out of the park. If you like grapefruit cocktails that aren't too sweet, try the Sweet & Sour.
