“I'm giving 3 stars for a few reasons: Food is just good, no awesome, not bad. Just good. Portions are note generous but not to little. The way they serve just doesn't feel like a restaurant. I think they can improve by using glass or plato cups instead of disposable ones, it makes it look cheap. Other reason is that at least the day I was here, our waitress wasn't good. Don't get me wrong but she seemed like didn't have experience waiting tables and when she was delivering our food she said she didn't know the dishes. I think the management can also improve with a little training on the people. Finally and this is the least important thing, when you're getting there looks like a place where you buy a car instead of a restaurant. I hope this place improves and delivers a better service and work on their general image.”

“3 co-workers and I had lunch here for the first time today. The location is out of the way, but not hard to find. They guys behind the counter were welcoming and helpful. The ambiance is casual diner, but you don't go to places like this for the ambiance, you go for the food. That's where Mama's BBQ shines. 2 of us had the chopped brisket plate and the other 2 had the ribs plate. The meat was tender and flavorful and the sauce was good also. We all agreed we would go back again and try some of their other dishes.”

The new Stockyards location has is no different. Ordering was quick and efficient. You can place your own order by using the iPad style ordering pads to right after entering...or...you can order the old school way at the counter. I started with a Brooklyn beer - I mean I had to! (They also have shakes & concretes) My double cheeseburger was so juicy. I enjoyed every bite along with the crinkle cut fries. Looking forward to my next visit.”
