Old Hickory Steakhouse

Its very unusual to find a restaurant this good in a resort setting. No need to leave to find a great steak house, it is right there on the lower level. The chef Nick is great and the staff I met consisted of Tara, Barbara, Dave and Glen. Unbelievable attention to detail. Prompt service and very friendly. Our server Barbara was very knowledgeable about the offerings and the wine. Everyone was a first class professional. Don't miss this one!

Food was amazing as well as drinks. Staff was friendly and inviting. The only thing I would say is that the steak was $60 and came with no sides. We did not know a side was not included until the bill came. But other than that it was very good.

Went back on our 1 year anniversary. Great food and very awesome staff. Love you all. A++++++ guys

Once we were seated, our Server (Barbara) was phenomenal! Knowledgeable, professional & a pure delight! Offered to find a specific item for us elsewhere, we declined but to offer it was simply amazing. Our food arrived in short order and was scrumptious, to say the least. Barbara made our birthday celebration quite memorable. At one point, I was chilled and she brought me a pashmina to warm up. A divine server! Our experience was wonderful once we were seated. I will say the front of the house requires some work, the hostess initially sat us directly in front of the kitchen beside a table full of loud & boisterous men. Although, they were having a great time and enjoying their meal & libations. We preferred a quieter ambiance to our celebratory evening and asked to be moved so that we could enjoy our quiet conversation. Barbara provided just that perfect ambiance to our evening. Kudos!

Most fantastic food! I enjoy cooking and have limitations on what I can and will eat. The quality of food is top notch and the chef puts a perfect amount of flavor so that you can enjoy the quality. Chef Chris came to our table and was able to easily cook my food according to my dietary restrictions. My husband especially enjoyed his wife’s cornbread recipe. The goat cheese tray is a must! Phenomenal! The steaks, side dishes, and wine selection are top notch. We will definitely look forward to our next visit.
