“What a night. We went with two other couples, but ran into friends. The host got us all at one table and it turned into a party. We were there until closing. The food was incredible, the service was great, and the owners came by to say hello. My wife tried most of the craft cocktails and reports that they were great. The one with a dried lemon was her favorite. What an incredible night. Thank you to the owners, the staff, the cooks, the servers, and everyone who made it such a good evening.”

R&J's Bar and Grill

Address: 451 E Northwest Hwy, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

Restaurant

“I drink and eat here often. Best food ever! Not only does it taste amazing but also the chicken is still moist. Most “bar” kitchens dry that out. Ask if there are any specials for the day. One of the owners is a very creative chef and makes new stuff daily. Has owned and managed many restaurants. This is a MUST stop! Its like a Cheers type bar as well. Everyone is family. So awesome”

Hop and Sting Brewing Company

Address: 906 Jean St, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

Restaurant

“Our family loves finding family friendly breweries, restaurants, etc. We were excited to find Hop and Sting and enjoyed our time here. We arrived around 5:45 on a Saturday and were able easily find a seat outside. The outdoor area is nice even when it’s a bit hot out because it’s pretty shaded with trees and lots of umbrellas. Unfortunately there isn’t a lot of seating inside so we’re glad it’s shaded but we were unsure if the office area that is in a separate building is also used for seating… the door was open to this building and there were tables but that was a little unclear to us. We absolutely loved the beer selection. The first Saturday we went there were (2) different live musicians. The second musician a reggae performer was awesome! He was interactive with the crowd and at one point had all the kids performing with him. While the food trucks all have great service.. very friendly folks! There’s not enough variety especially for families … both trucks (diff times of the day) on the first Saturday and 1 on the second were all BBQ and not kid friendly. These would be our one request is more variety and options for kids!”

Address: 5351 William D Tate Ave, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

Restaurant

“I used to be a fan. Gas is expensive compared to others…30 cents high. Drive through wash is not good enough for the price. The pump didn’t spit out the receipt for the overpriced car wash today so I had to go inside and wait in line. I’m active looking for another place.”

DFW Kabab & Gyro

Address: 2350 Hall - Johnson Rd #140, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

Restaurant

“Came here on a Sunday night at 6pm. The place was about half full, but they were constantly getting phone orders. So they were busy. There were several large family orders that were to go that went out in front of me. There was no line and it didn't take too long to receive my food. I changed my order from on house to, to-go as i didnt plan my time very well and the people there gave me free hummus and pita to apologize for the delay. It was not an issue. The Pita was amazing. The gyro that I ordered was huge and very flavorful.. For $6.99 for the gyro, this might be one of the best deals in the area for meals. I also ordered fries and a side of rice. The size of rice is like a meal in itself. Great tasting. I will be back. Great place.”

Address: 603 S Main St #304, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

“Great food! Good wine selection! Honestly some of the best fish tacos I have had since San Diego. I confess the Wine Fusion specific wines were adequate, but not inspiring. However, the selection of Texas wines was great and we really enjoyed a bottle of one of those. Very attentive and friendly staff. If you are looking to pop in for a nice lunch or dinner you really cannot go wrong here.”

Palace Ticket Line

Address: 300 S Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

Restaurant

“What a great place to take the family. We have been going to the Palace for a number of years now, and have always enjoyed it. Either on a date with my wife to see a Hitchcock or Bond film, or taking the whole family to see Toy Story or Raiders of the Lost Ark, we always have fun. At a time when going out with everyone seems to require a second mortgage, we have a blast at a very reasonable price. The best thing for me is being able to see movies I have loved for years on a big screen again. If you have not gone, it is well worth the trip.”

“Great service from right when you walk in the door!! They were so welcoming and such a top notch restaurant! The gentleman (I wish I would have gotten his name) welcomed us, shook our hand and remembered our names the entire evening. To top that off, the food was outstanding! We ordered fried cauliflower as a starter and then the Valentine’s Day specials! The atmosphere while eating our dinner was amazing with the fireplace and the server always making sure we had fresh water! If we didn’t live over 24 hours away we would make this our weekly dinner date! THANK YOU!”

Daylight Golf

Address: 2505 E Grapevine Mills Cir, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

Restaurant

“Great place, great food! Definitely reserve ahead of time This place is a lot bigger than I expected, a ton of TVs for sports. The golf simulator was awesome, the chips & dip was incredible, and our waitress was really kind. They definitely have some smoothing out to do in regards to transitioning parties (we had a 20 min delay, people after us had 25 min delay). but give this place a couple months to fine-tune their processes, and this place will be grapevine’s newest hidden gem. I can tell the ownership put a lot of heart into this place and I’m excited to return.”

VAQUEROS TEXAS BAR-B-Q

Address: 906 Jean St, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

Restaurant

“Vaquero's is led by Chef Trey Sanchez, an incredible talent and even more amazing person. We have had the pleasure of getting to know him and his team through their delicious food and conversations. The soul of what I would call Mexican-inspired Texas BBQ shines through every dish they present. Everything served is made with humbleness, hard work, and a never-ending dedication to bringing out the innate greatness of the food itself. Every item on the menu deserves to be tried, as there is greatness in each one. That being said, some of my personal favorites include: 1. Birria Tacos: Made with smoked brisket, these tacos, with an amazing consummé, have just the right amount of crunch on the outside, white cheesy goodness on the inside, and an overall deliciousness that just can't be beat. As a native Texan, I can say that Vaquero's Birria Tacos are my absolute favorite way to enjoy brisket. I know, I know...that's a lot of big talk, but I am willing to bet that if you try them, you won't disagree. 2. Smoked Turkey Breast: Impossibly juicy, Chef Sanchez's smoked turkey is a melt-in-your-mouth explosion of intense flavors and just the right amount of smokiness. If Chef Sanchez happens to have this on the menu that day, I never leave without some. 3. Apple Gorgonzola Coleslaw: Okay, I know this is "just a side," but this mix of cabbage, cranberries, pecans, and salty gorgonzola, along with a sweet berry sauce that has small, delightfully tart, green apple slices. I eat it as a stand-alone and add it as a topping to both the pulled pork and the pork belly. If you aren't hankerin' for Vaquero's at this point, then I've done a dismally poor job of a review, and would strongly encourage you to take a trip and try it for yourselves!”

D’Ambrosio’s Pizza Pub

Address: 1713 Cross Roads Dr, Grapevine, TX 76051, USA

Restaurant

“After seeing multiple restaurants try to open in this location, this one has potential. As the other reviews mentioned, the wait staff is still learning but overall the experience was good, the staff was friendly and accommodating, facility is clean, and the food was good. Being a frequent traveler to Chicago, it’s not the same “quality” but it’s close enough. Unfortunately, I’m not sure Texans are ready for Chicago style pizza, the wait that comes with it (30-40 minutes), and the price (usually always higher than other styles of pizza). With a few adjustments, this one can make it and continue to get better!”
