A major favorite! Brisket salad and meat potatoe are amazing! A must try when in the dfw airport.
So I got a double meat plate and a beer for about $29 and I would be so disappointed if the food was excellent but unfortunately it just wasn't that. The mac and cheese was very liquidy and overcooked, the brisket tasted like a weird cigarette flavour but the jalapeno sausage and the coleslaw was the only thing saving the meal. I must say I am a brisket connoisseur hence why I chose this place but unfortunately, I wont be back here again
Standard BBQ. Not bad for airport food. Servers are nice and responsive. Overall service was good. Chicken BBQ sandwich was a good change from pulled pork or beef. Nice stopover on a flight.
I compared Hickory in this concourse and Cousins. Cousins had the better food. I had the sliced brisket sandwich. Good flavor, might have been liquid smoke, but it was good. Fat food atmosphere, but good food. Want a bar, go to Hickory's 4 gates down.
As a East Carolina transplant traveling from Tennessee figured I'd try Cousin's BBQ at DFW airport. Sliced brisket was good a little salty but still good. Fried okra was fried to order and seasoned nicely. Jalapenos we're a nice addition to the brisket which I got covered in their tangy sauce. Overall it was pretty good airport offered food for the price.
