Baby!! 1st time visiting but definitely not the last. The warm welcome & The great service was just the icing on the cake. But the food!! Did not disappoint. I enjoyed every thing about this place! I had the brisket, half chicken, mac and greens smh. 😋

Today was our second time visiting Hattie Marie's the first time we had fish today we had the Rib Plate. Must I say both times we was not disappointed the food was great. They give you nice portions on the sides. The atmosphere and hospitality was also great.
We will be back. Continued success Happy New Year

The food was delicious. Huge portions and well seasoned. Definitely brought home leftovers. Everything was fresh. All of the employees were very friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and will be back. The prices might be a bit higher than what other places charge, but the food is definitely better than those places too. I feel like it's almost expected to not have great service at restaurants these days, and everyone here made sure to let you know they appreciated you coming in.

Was in town for training and decided to drop by for some BBQ. The location was extremely clean, floors, tables and the bathroom. My party tried the ribs, brisket as well as the catfish & shrimp special they had. The ribs fell apart as soon as we picked them up. They were succulent and delicious. The BBQ sauce took them up a notch but was not needed. The crunch on the catfish & shrimp had me trying to figure out what breading they used cause my shrimp & fish does not crunch like that ya heard! Mac n cheese, collards, potato salad & baked beans u cannot go wrong on whatever you order here. The staff was friendly & smiling which is a good sign they enjoy their work, and they didn’t rush us to leave - we overstated our welcome laughing and enjoying the food, but the staff was friendly about it. If I’m ever back in Texas I will definitely go back, definitely hit the spot for a BBQ craving.

We went for lunch yesterday and thought it was fantastic! Shrimp & catfish were both perfectly portioned with a light batter that was crisp and seasoned just right! It was so refreshing to have something fried that didn't taste like the oil it came out of. The cabbage & potato salad were both great as well. The wait was a little on the longer side, but I'm guessing it was because of having it freshly made. I also thought the prices were a little high, but to me their food was better than others that are cheaper so it's worth it!
