The day was cool with a light breeze after many days with high heat temps. If you sit outside it feels like you're in a different place but yet still in Bedford. The mascarpone and strawberry crepe was delicious. Silky smooth with a burst of flavor. Spectacular! A small piece of France, in a small town like Bedford is perfect for our big heart in Texas.

The Expresso beverages are an excellent combination with the various food items. Being in house blends means the owner is very knowledgeable and can produce a consistent, balanced flavor.

For the food, there are plenty of options (especially if you come earlier before they are sold out). The croissants were something of a must try for me. They exceeded my expectations. One of the best I have had in a long time. Anyone who loves croissants would know that although it may seem basic, you can tell when it is done right each time.

Staff are friendly and service excellent. They do not cut any corners as can be seen by the care and attention to store and goods alike. Talking to the staff about the coffee was interesting and they genuinely enjoy what they do.

L'Epicerie relocated from Glenview Dr to Harwood Blvd in a small shopping strip. Their coffee is heavenly as are the croissants. I also got a fruit tart which was bursting with fresh fruit. There's a nice seating area too with a couple of outdoor tables as well. I also got a carton of paella starter broth. They have bags of loose tea and candies and other things that would make nice gifts.

Love this place, totally French vibes. They have some really good coffee and the best pastries. The croissant and baba au rhum are the must-try❤️🥐
