“Chick-fil-A is always a good experience at least in good towns. I love this one the most because I realized that they have table covers for the babes and of course options for their tiny little fingers to eat. Even though the tables are set close together there are some booths that give you enough room to stay out of the way with a high chair. Foods always good, people are always friendly, and the patrons all seem to be okay with baby shenanigans.”

“A new favorite! The atmosphere was very relaxing and it’s decorated really well. The coffee was great and tasted very fresh. I had the 1/2 sandwich and soup. The broccoli cheddar soup was delicious & also tasted fresh and homemade, and the turkey and cheese sandwich was about as good a turkey and cheese sandwich is gonna get. They also had chicken and dumplings which I’m sure would have been great as well. All very affordable prices as well. Will definitely be coming back.”

“First time trying Twisted Root ever! I ordered the classic (beef and cheese), fries, and an oreo shake. My sis got the strawberry shake (her burger is not pictured but she enjoyed it!) They brought the shakes out soon after ordering. Y'ALL. That shake was so delicious and creamy! I even said "this taste like they took their time making it"! Seriously one of the best shakes I've ever had, and I'm a shake queen! The burger was juicy and filling! I'm not much of a fry person but they were also great. Next time, I'd split the fries with someone because the portion was large. The pickle area was so cute! I like the regular dill. I also liked the bread and butter. The area where TR is located was so adorable and inviting. I'll definitely be back more than I should!”

Maybe it was your mother, aunt, grandmother…but when you sat down at her table, you felt at home and at ease. That was my experience visiting Callie’s. I was welcomed in and made to feel at home. There was a small, but well-stocked salad bar, a menu of sandwich items, and a daily special offered to me. The special for my visit was meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll. That’s what I ordered. The meal was delicious, the service was gracious, and the price was quite reasonable. I’m looking forward to going back to try more.”

“Update(3.25.19): prices on meets went up, many now are "market price." Today's brisket was dry (over smoked or heat lamp) turkey still tastes good. Potato was a little undercooked. Still good beer selection. Great Smoky taste, doesn't need the BBQ sauce. Good selection of craft beers. Wife liked the bishop crackberry cider and I liked the the ballast point tongue buckler. They opened a tab and let us taste the beers until we found one we liked. Good daily specials. Beans and potato salad were "on point" per the wife.”

“This place has mixed reviews and for good reason. We ordered take out and were surprised to see the order was correct given the challenge or communicating the order. Once we got there our food was hot and ready. I had the curry chicken and didn’t really like it much. The portion size was quite small, the fried rice didn’t have any vegetables in it. It had some flavor but it wasn’t amazing. Some of the chicken was a bit tough as well. The egg roll was probably the best thing they had.”

The new manager seems to have everything under control and he sounds like a respectful one to his employees telling them they are doing a great job and saying Thank you to them!
