Mexican standards with decent family friendly atmosphere and a bar. I ordered the "mini-chimi" 3 chimichanga special, which came quickly and was very satisfying. Good place to frequent for Tex-Mex with reasonable prices and specials.
Nice atmosphere. Good food. They have good lunch specials till 4 p.m.
I used to eat here regularly... a total fan of Frijoles! I moved away for 2 years and came back... could not wait to go there. Would love to sit on the patio and have a frozen margarita so when I returned to frijoles that was where I asked to sit. Their response was “isn’t it too hot out there? We laughed it off and said no So they reluctantly stat us on the patio. The chips and salsa were awesome as always. A little bit pricier than I was expecting and the margarita was weak, but would not keep me from returning. The service was lacking and waiter seemed unhappy. We went back a week later because we were going to turn this into our usual spot like we did a couple years ago. We asked to sit on the patio and got the exact same response. Now I’m wondering, why don’t they want us to sit on the patio? No big deal I ordered an extra in my margarita had a nice lunch ( despite another unfriendly waiter) and left. A week later we return. Asked to sit on the patio and they refuse to let us sit there because it’s sprinkling outside. Now mind you? The patio is completely covered and it was not raining on the patio at all. They seem quite bothered by our request and completely unaccommodating. Sadly, I probably will not return as the customer service is very poor here. ????
Went here tonight with my wife and son. The chips were great but the wife thought the salsa for the chips was too spicy. We both ordered enchiladas and they turned out fantastic. Large portions and very delicious. My son ordered fish tacos and he said they only had like 4 tiny shrimp per taco otherwise they were good and they added a sauce on the side that was so hot it was inedible. We asked if they had a more mild sauce and we were told the other spicy was the most mild they had. I can handle heat and I could handle the chip salsa but the fish taco sauce was extremely hot and burned the tastebuds. The waiter was very friendly and respectful and the atmosphere was great.
My family and I had late dinner here on Saturday, the meal was delicious , and large portion too. I ordered enchilada dinner and i could only eat half and the other half to go. My daughter and hubby did the same. The entree is reasonably price. When we arrived, we were seated right away, and our server came shortly after so i thought that nice. ❤
