Great food with fresh ingredients and quality is great. It is a fine dining type restaurant, so be prepared for such. Great staff and as Italian (food wise) as Southlake, TX can be.

Delicious Italian Food. My chicken breast over angel hair pasta and topped with fresh sauteed spinach and melted cheese was perfectly cooked and so light. My husband had pizza with chicken and loved it as well. It tasted like the Pizzas in Germany made by native Italians. Not Chicago or New York Style. One thing I could not understand that neither the hostess nor the manager on duty knew about their participation in the United and American Airlines Dining Program.

This was my first time to visit il Calabrese. We had a group in the private room. Luigi took care of us. The service and the food was excellent. They have a nice bar area where several groups of regulars were eating. It had a very cozy and welcoming feel.

I wanted pasta in alfredo sauce but it wasn't on the menu. Luckily I asked the waiter and they had it just not listed. It was very good. The rest of the meal was good just not mind blowing. The service was good and the manager came by to check on us.

Completely Italian for great pasta and wine. A complete menu and wine list is an attractive quality of this establishment. Medium price to high end it's your choice.
There is an upstairs for wedding celebrations and private parties with a very luxurious atmosphere that will enhance you special event allowing you and your guests to celebrate fully and completely the Italian way. For dinner reservations are a must because this restaurant is popular.
