“Mount Pleasant is so fortunate to have this excellent Pizzeria gracing our downtown square. The restaurant is charming. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, and it's perfect for a medium-priced date night. The pizza is delicious (which you should expect at a pizzeria), but they also have these amazing kale salads that could even be enjoyed by non-salad-lovers. They've recently started adding excellent, non-pizza entrees to the menu as well, so Nardello's makes a great night out even if you aren't in the mood for pizza.”

“I am a regular customer at Laura's Cheesecake and recommend them to anyone. They have a great selection for lunch and always has desserts out. The Laura's Cobb Salad is very filling and helps you feel a little less guilty for following it up with a slice of birthday cake cheesecake (my FAVORITE). “My second job ever was at McDonald's in Tyler, Texas. I worked my way up and by age 20 I was an assistant manager. When visiting a food service establishment; I like to read their reviews out loud to the other members of party. Often times this precipitates a reaction from one or more of them. If you as a business have bad reviews like this McDonald's does it can be quite embarrassing. However this visit at the Mt. Pleasant McDonald's earned all five of these stars. The McDonald's World Famous French Fries were cooked perfectly, served hot and seasoned to taste. Cheeseburgers were dissected , examined and devoured. Other party member whom had chicken nuggets said perfect. We all had tea and coffee with no complaints. This visit was either redemption from bad press or just great timing on our behalf; but if you can replicate that all the time, you should have no more bad reviews. Awesome Great Job.”

“As soon as I stepped into this restaurant I realised I had made the best decision of my day, perhaps my year, possibly my life. The staff were a true example of southern hospitality, welcoming me like I was an old time friend. The menu was simple and yet extensive. They had more than I could have asked for or imagined. Just like the good book says so. My burger was the best I’ve ever had! Was it a burger, was it a taste of heaven? I couldn’t tell the difference. The meat was juicy and well seasoned and all the extras that went with it were the ideal accompaniment. The fries (chips) were fried to perfection and generously portioned. Tasty! No matter what you do, even if you have to go out of your way, even if you have to fly to Texas to have this burger, do it! Don’t die with the regret that you never let your taste buds experience the glory that is Mount Pleasant Burgers and Fries.”

There are no short cuts when it comes to the size of the burgers and all the extras like cheese, chili, jalapenos, onions, lettuce, tomatoes or whatever else you want. The fries are homemade with the skins, and they are very generous in their portion serving. We eat here often, and customer service is always friendly and courteous.
