Wonderful location. Best to stick with beer (skinny margarita not fabulous). Casual fare. Cajun shrimp excellent.
We had a very nice (and large) Burger and fries here for lunch. This was a Monday so the menu was a bit limited. It is a spacious facility and they have a very nice and convenient courtesy dock for access from the Lake. Will definitely come here again.
Love this location, and the staff and owner are great. I'm only giving it four stars because of the prices. However, I do highly recommend it for the atmosphere and great customer service. All of the food I've had here has been good. I will be back would definitely bring friends here.
This location has gone through a number of ups and downs from Carlos and Charlie's to most recently Ernie's on the Lake. But I sure hope that EPBG will stick around for the long run.
It was a breeze to park the boat. Despite being on one or the windiest and choppiest parts of the lake the private cove and docks were well protected. One thing unique is that they have dock hands to help you tie up your boat and launch which I'm sure will be great for renters and new boat owners!
The bar and restaurant area was spacious and had a nice breeze and good temperature. It was counter-serve when we went Sunday morning but the food came out quick. The chicken tenders portion was very large (almost half a chicken easily) and the fish tacos were good and presented well. Both the bartenders were very attentive, personable and great conversationalists as well as good at their craft.
All in all I can't wait to be back and hope they stick around for years to come!
Came on a Saturday night, and there was a pretty good sized crowd. Our food came quick and was definitely some of the better bar food you'll find. On the rocks and frozen margaritas are both good and you can't beat the views, especially at sunset!
