“If you follow me, you know I don't do a lot of five stars on first visit, but this place is fabulous. Had egg and chorizo and also pastor, both on flour. Fantastic tortillas. Some of the best in town. Properly warmed before service. Good thickness. Tasty. Both filling types are great also. Had the green salsa, which she said wasn't as spicy, but still had some good heat. Really highly recommend. Came back for pastor and steak fajita. Both also excellent.”

“Full time traveler here (@whatrvdoing) and at the time of this post there were only 9 reviews. This is ten and the food is a 10! Hands down this was THE BEST Gyro/Mix Shawarma wrap I have ever had. If you go to thicket, try this truck. It is phenomenal. My wife even tried a bite, though she’s not a huge fan of spicy she said it was SO flavorful. BTW I asked for spicy. “First off, I want to say the location isn't tagged exactly right. Didn't have the option of tagging the place, but you can find it in Google maps. Taqueria monarca, way out east. I think the truck is in someone's front yard. There are four trucks here and they all look good. I want to try all of them. Got my Sunday morning regular. Chorizo and egg on flour and bacon and egg on flour. Both were very big. About $3.50 each. Two is enough. As usual, chorizo is better than bacon, but both were good. Flour tortillas were fluffy. Could have been fried up a slight bit more before serving. Four and half stars. Upgraded to five because this whole little area is lovely.”

“We love going here for some delicious brisket/egg and barbacoa tacos for breakfast/lunch!!! I love barbacoa, but I rarely order it because it's so greasy and makes my stomach hurt a bit after - but not here! It tastes so smokey and flavorful without the grease dripping down your face. Also, I appreciate a good salsa, and both their salsas are delicious. Not only that, they are actually really sweet and genuine to their custumers - something that I feel is slowly disappearing from the service industry in Austin.
