Dan's Hamburgers

Wonderful. It's got all those old fashioned dinner things, from the layout to the furniture. And the burger was great, the buns are toasted just right and the milkshake was thick, but not so much that you can't use a straw. And you can taste the chocolate syrup loved it. They also have not burgers, a drive thru and apparently great breakfast.

Dan's is one of the best burgers in Austin. They are a local family owned business. Diner style atmosphere. The burgers is what they are know for big , juicy, flavourful. But they also have an amazing breakfast menu in the mornings. Just be prepared to fight for a parking space and wait for a while to get a tabel. It's definitely worth the wait.

You can definitely tell the burgers are made from fresh ground beef & made to order. Quick service even during a packed lunch hr .The veggies are fresh and the portion sizes are reasonable. My only minor criticism is they don't do combos. Which ironically is fine with me, because i don't like fries. However i can see how that can upset some ppl.

The best burger in Austin? I think so. At the very least it's worth trying if you haven't had one. Also the breakfast tacos are excellent and the prices are reasonable.
