    My favorite hidden gem. Never too crowded, food and cocktails are always good. Love to come here to watch World Cup games.

    Another great true treasure of Austin. I recommend the chicken fried steak and great close but far atmosphere.

    Good food great service attached to a very nice Best Western Plus hotel. Being a seasoned traveler for work, this was one of the best hotels for being known as a "budget friendly" chain. Opal had a very nice selection of all liquors, with signature cocktails and a selection of craft beers. Very clean which is comforting when eating out.

    Beautiful new location. The restaurant is beautiful. I would recommend you have your back of house employees be a little more quiet or watch profanities. Chicken fried steak had a wonderful flavor and the hatch chillies were delicious. The portion seemed like a lunch portion and a bit over cooked. All in all I think it was a good experience. I would definitely be back.

    Great food and good service. Even though my server was new, she was attentive and super friendly. Will definitely come back again when I am in Texas again.
