Weekends are festive. Always a good place to grab a margarita & some apps. If you're hungry there are plenty of large plates to choose from too that are very good. Frequent this place a few times a month. Never been disappointed.

We really like this place. There is always a fun atmosphere and the food is sooooo good. Personal favorite are the Mole enchiladas which are done to perfection. The drinks are also very tasty. Would recommend if you want a more authentic homemade version of Mexican food in Austin than TexMex. Also the made to order salsa for the table is really good too!

Chapala was my favorite restaurant in Washington state and I stumbled upon this one today, and was delighted to find out that it was started by the same people. I had been searching for a place that would be as good ever since I moved and I am so happy I don't have to anymore. They have the best Mexican food I've had anywhere, a great friendly atmosphere, good drinks, and a wonderful owner who was kind enough to come talk with me after I found out that they were part of the same chain. I'm so excited to start going to Chapala once a week again, just like I did growing up!

My husband and I have come here on several date nights. It's very nice and the staff is knowledgeable of the menus and drinks. The food is great quality and you can't ho wrong with your order. Will definitely be coming back.

This restaurant has the best coconut shrimp in the whole area! All of the food is great. I have never been disappointed. The salsa is made table side to your liking and the bean dip is fantastic. The owners, Lupe & Lucina, are often in the restaurant and stop by the tables to greet customers. They are great people. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
