So happy I found this place - their gyros are simply delicious. The pita was perfectly soft and chewy, the vegetables fresh, and the meat tender and flavorful (I got the Roman gyro, with beef and lamb). I tried the baklava for dessert, and it was also really yummy. The place was clean, the ingredients fresh, and the service friendly. I will definitely be back to try the appetizers, and of course the gyros.
Best pitas on this side of town! The owner is incredibly personable and usually even manages to remember your order. The pitas are the right amount of chewy and delicious, and the gyros are fantastic. Get there early on Friday for lunch. The place gets a little crowded.
The owner is always fantastic and goes over the top to provide great service. Their take out is fast and tasty and I must admit we try and stop by once every few weeks. The food never disappoints either so make sure to order dessert! I always appreciate a clean restaurant too so bonus points for that. Great Job!
My wife and I discovered this great little restaurant quite by accident--and we are glad we did. We started with hummus for an appetizer, and it was absolutely wonderful. The hummus was fresh and flavorful, as good as any I've had elsewhere. Then we enjoyed gyro wraps, which were also delightful. One of the main reasons the food is so good is that it is truly fresh. But the best was last! The baklava was scrumptious--the best I've ever had anywhere, including the time I spent in the Middle East and in Turkey. I considered having more, but decided to give my waistline a break this time. The decor is basic, but the food is well worth the trip!
My husband and I were in the mood for Mediterranean food and decided to try out the Pita House for dinner. We were most pleasantly surprised! The owner is very friendly and the food was delicious! The menu is simple but everything we tried was extremely fresh and full of flavor. I loved the made-from-scratch hummus, the soft and tasty pita bread that wrapped my gyro, and the baklava for dessert was simply amazing! We will definitely be coming back and letting our friends know about this place. It's a winner!
