I was blown away by the Phocos! It's like the best parts of Pho, with a chinese Mu Shu vibe, in a convenient taco vessel. The brisket has depth of flavor while having the right amount of chew, and the shiitake has an equal depth of flavor and texture variation. I will be back for more, and hope you try it out!

Addicted to @20Pho7 Austin delish food! All fresh ingredients and traditional Vietnamese Pho recipes with a twist. Love the shiitake Phocos (pho tacos) and no soup pho you sandwich. If you order it hot it will be snifflin’ HOT ?

Totally amazed by what we had today. I got the Pho Sandwich with NY strip and my date got the Phoco (pho taco), and they were both completely over the top from what we expected. The Pho Sandwich is sorta like a French Dip, but it doesn't taste like a French Dip. It actually taste like Pho in a sandwich form. The meat and toppings/spices were perfect, and when you dipped it in the broth it tasted just like Pho... but your eating a sandwich. The bread was light and mostly there to absorb the broth so it didn't interfere with the pho experience. Honestly I might prefer eating pho like that all the time now. My date also really enjoyed the Pho Taco which she said was the same way that it tasted like pho but in taco form. We will be back.

So I had the sandwich aka "no soup for you". I had the NY strip extra spicy just the way it comes....omg I just wish I had another half a sandwich just to relive the experience. The pho broth is deep like my emotions and after many dips it becomes a bowl of soup. The little bits inside the sandwich fall in. You drink that soup afterwards.... man the flavor is still in my mouth. Go already!

I grew up on very authentic pho in Hawaii and have had stellar Vietnamese in all the major cities I’ve lived in on both coasts, so my bar is very high.

The only pho I’ve had that is better is at a hole in the wall 3rd generation restaurant in Kauai and only because the veggies come fresh from their farm next door...pretty hard to top.

The broth is flawless (I personally think the chicken is the best), the flavors are bold and sophisticated, the portion is generous and the owner couldn’t possibly be a nicer human being. I’ve gone two days in a row after discovering it. 5 million stars!!
