Truly the best pizza. The crust is perfect and that's everything. If you haven't eaten here you should.
Great food, friendly staff, and a mellow vibe. If you want a kick back spot to enjoy some pizza and relax, this is it!
I'm so glad that Regal Ravioli expanded into the pizza-making business because their New Jersey style za's are INSANELY DELICIOUS!! I ordered the classic cheese pizza with hot Italian chicken sausage and gooodnessss gracious it was delightful! Bring your appetite or a small army because the pies are huge!
Fabulous freaking pizza! Perfect crust. Not soggy!, like so much pizza in this town. I'm a transplanted New Yorker and this stuff is the real deal. Less hassle than going to home slice on South Congress.
Lunar has amazing Jersey style pizza-hands down, some of the best in Austin!
I ordered a meatball and mushroom pizza. They make their meatballs daily and you can definitely taste the freshness and care that goes in to each one. The mushrooms were pretty tasty too. The sauce is slightly sweet but not overdone - perfection in my opinion. The cheese is fresh, spread under the topping over the crust and baked then over the toppings for an extra special cheesiness. The crust is thin without being flimsy, and it's pliable enough to fold without breaking in half. Everything about Lunar Pizza is exactly how pizza should be!
Since my first visit, I've been back several times for a couple of slices - usually I go for one pepperoni and a cheese. Tip: Their slices are really large, like hang off the plate Texas big! One slice is probably plenty for most people as they are the size of roughly two regular slices.
I've lived in the Austin area since 1994, so I have had my fair share of local pizza joints. With that said, I now rank Lunar at the top my list for must "go-to" pizza places in this area!
