Was close to the Thinkery, so chose Colleen's for this reason. Online, menu looked great!
Wonderful ambiance. Very friendly staff. Food was good, but not over the top. We wished we would have gone with the buttermilk chicken. Instead, had the catfish from the appetizer menu and the fried okra. Catfish was good, but the okra was the whole pod (not cut) fried in the same batter as chicken, I guess. Just not a good as the cornmeal-battered kind.
My husband liked his double-meat cheeseburger. Said it was, "Good and greasy!"
It's worth giving it a try.

Awesome food. The pancakes were great! Also very accommodating for children. Our party was 4 adults and 4 kids lol nice highchairs, plastic cups with tops and straws, paper & crayons, kids menu... and an elegant place for adults. Great food selection. Nice area. Opens at 10 and got packed right away. Good thing we had reservations! Nice and friendly staff.

I happened upon this quaint place. First lesson learned was that reservations are recommended for the weekend. Luckily, we were able to be seated. The service rates top-notch. The food is "southern.... with a flair!" I had the buttermilk chicken. It's battered, deep-fried, boneless chicken (breast and thigh). It was tasty, but I would have preferred a little more seasoning. They do provide sauces for additional flavor. I loved the green beans and mashed potatoes. I'm a bread lover, so the biscuit definitely rates high! The atmosphere of the Mueller area will definitely draw me back.

The ambiance here is awesome, really got that mid century modern look and feel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, as well. They are kid friendly, which was nice because our child was hungry and a little rambunctious after playing at the Mueller playground for a while.

The only reason that I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the salad I got was a little more basic than what I was expecting, the soup was lacking in flavor, and my soda wasn't refilled, let alone offered as a choice.

I do plan on returning and giving another chance, though, because my wife's chicken was delicious, and our daughter enjoyed her meal as well. I plan to order something different, and if that shines, I'd be more than willing to give five stars.
