Big City Bagels and Subs

Had the lox and cream cheese on a sesame seed bagel. I loved it ! Tasted amazing and fresh! He also loaded up on the lox! This place deserves more attention! Family owned and they were so so incredibly friendly! Highly recommend this for people in this area of Austin.

I have tried all the bagel shops in Austin to find a bagel that would taste like a real New York bagel and gave up all hope until today, my search ended at Big City Bagels and Subs. It is the place for a bagel made the correct way! I only tried the scallion cream cheese, but I can't wait to try the others! YUM!!! If you're in north Austin give them a try!

This lovely mom-and-pop shop in NW Austin offers a mouthwatering array of bagels, sandwiches, pastries, and salads made with great care and love. I’ve been there every week since they’ve opened and can vouch for the quality of food. But it’s not just the food that draws me in. What makes this shop truly special is the family who owns it. They are among the friendliest small business owners I’ve met and they make you feel welcomed. Worth the trip up North if you don’t live in the area.

Working from home today and decided to check them out. I got the Italiano sub and loved it. I initially thought it was pricey but compared to mainstream sub shops this was absolutely tasty and fresh. I also had the meat pie and it was delicious as well. I would like to try the Reuben sandwich as specified in the previous posts.

Fresh baked bagels are the BEST in Austin...nothing else compares. The owner is very meticulous in making sure ingredients are fresh...the veggie spread is absolutely out of this world. You will have to keep coming back because this a family owned store and they care about everyone who walks through the door. All you have to do is try it one time and you'll see the quality and you will want your friends and family to have the experience as well.
