The music was good. Staff was friendly. The is a gratuity which is automatically added to the bill, and they don't bring and itemized receipt, so be mindful when paying your tab. There are signs at the bar, but waitresses don't mention that detail. I was a bit annoyed when I paid my first bill. It wouldn't have changed the additional gratuity, but would have still been nice to know. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars

This is my go to spot. Only thing I don't like is they charge you for everything and you cannot keep an open tab.

The drinks are cool, the food is good. The music is good. I always ask for Keisha to be my waitress in my opinion she has the best service.

Take cash if you don't want your card run every time.

Went to an event a few weeks ago. The space is way bigger in person than pics shared online suggest. Bartenders were great, drinks were good, and the event was a hit. I wasn't a fan of the valet, or their options to park yourself. I would have parked myself had I understood where to go. Cones were everywhere, and it was very confusing. I paid valet, and they moved my car like 15 feet from where I was standing. Meh, parking troubles in a large parking lot was silly, but other than that, great place.

Nice atmosphere. Well thought out plan of valet parking (the parking lot is mega small)..
The paying for a seat though? Nah.. This is Austin, not Atlanta.. but if you see opportunity to make money by any means necessary, go for it.. I'm just used to going to Midtown and sit where for free...

I went to Hanovers to see the Shuler King comedy performance. The venue was cozy to be sure, for a well attended event the was a tight fit for everyone, but the was still a little elbow room so they didn't pack us in like sardines. The staff there were all very nice and accommodating in trying to get everyone settled, and really helped bump the rating. You have to give credit to good people and good service. Don't go in expecting a 4 or 5 star downtown Austin venue. But if you're looking for a good time with a crowd of people with a good vibe, you can't go wrong.
