Food was quite good. Service was, umm, slow. And it's not like they were busy, as the place was only half full, and our server only had three tables, two of which were wrapping it up. I'd be willing to try the place one more time, but only if I have 2-1/2 hours to spare for a meal.
The food here was fine, but we probably won't be back. It is expensive and pretentious and does not have a lot of variety. Don't get me wrong, I like pretentious places for foodies, but this place did not strum my strings.
I very much enjoyed the wonderful food at this restaurant. But I have to deduct one star because of the service. I don't know if it was because it was a Monday but we felt quite rushed through our meal. It felt like approximately every 10 minutes our waiter (ever so warmly, of course) came over to ask us how we were doing. Then a little past 9pm they turned off the lights in the back corners, as if to signal to us to leave. I arrived at 7:15 p.m. to meet a dear friend I hadn't seen in a while. I wasn't planning on rushing.
For the quality of restaurant this place presents itself to be, it felt very inhospitable. This place isn't cheap and shouldn't treat their guests this way. It wasn't that late and we spent good money here.
