Saltgrass Steak House

I actually visited this restaurant during a recent business trip to Austin Texas. I happened to meet a homeless lady that was struggling and I took her to this restaurant to give her a decent meal and to raise her self-esteem. The food was really wonderful the service was extremely friendly and she got her full and got a large takeout bag to bring with her. This restaurant who's only a stone's throw from the hotel that I was only a stones Throw from the hotel where I was staying so it was extremely convenient.

Excellent food, excellent prices, excellent service. No complaints here. I try to visit Saltgrass whenever I go to Texas, but I haven't had it for close to 10 years. It tasted just as good as the last time!

The food here is wonderful. We went out here for our birthday dinner, and it was fantastic. The steak was big and juicy. Their service can be improved a bit, but other than that, it was pretty good. There is plenty of parking. There menu is extensive.

I had a pleasant experience at Saltgrass. I visited today for lunch with a colleague and the service was excellent. My Steak was cooked to my preference and went well with my mashed potatoes. The ice tea was sweetened perfectly, it was cold and refreshing which was nice on this warmer than normal February day. It's always nice to have a business lunch that you actually enjoy eating.

Excellent Porterhouse steak. Garlic mashed potatoes were excellent. The Chicken Tortilla Soup was excellent as well as the Caesar salad. We had an excellent waitress who was very knowledgeable. Cheesecake and the Pecan Pie bread pudding for dessert. The bread pudding was good, but was a little dry for my taste. I prefer it having a little pudding between the chunks of bread. This was a solid mass of bread topped with a pecan crust. Good, but definitely not my favorite. A good place for old friends to talk.
