I liked it initially when I tried fried rice but hated the soup during my second visit. I tried Tom Yum soup and little did I know it came with whole mushrooms which I don't feel appetizing. It felt like a mushroom soup given the quantity of mushrooms in it. Apart from that the taste was good. May give another visit to even out the experience!
Shout out to Madam Mam's! My husband and I went for dinner tonight and our meal was great. Our server was so friendly and helpful when answering our questions. Definitely get the spring rolls appetizer! We'll be back!
The food was delicious. I chose a street style stir fry that had the right amount of flavour and spice. All agreed that their meal was delicious. And for a delicious drink, add a Thai Iced tea. Strong but full of flavour.
Finally, a place whose Tom yum tastes *exactly* like the amazing Tom yum in Thailand!
8 years ago in Bangkok, we discovered the joy of Thai food and the perfection of Tom yum. We liked it so much that we took a cooking class there, to learn how to make it.
Madam Mam's is perfect.
The rest of their food was great, although the drunken noodles were perhaps a bit heavy on the garlic (and we LOVE garlic).
Loved it and will go back when we're in this area of Texas!
