Hula Hut

I always want to like this place more than I end up liking it. I really do love the drinks and atmosphere but the food is just average and the prices don't help that.
I did love the stuffed avocado, that works. I think I'll have my trips to Hula Hut be casual visits with drinks and appetizers on the patio. I think that is what Hula Hut does best.

Great place to stop for lunch or dinner. The fajitas are delicious with a choice of beef, chicken or shrimp. They carry the locally brewed IPA which is quite refreshing. It's a relaxed atmosphere with an island theme. Parking is available on both sides of the street at no charge. I'll definitely be back again.

Never had a bad experience here!! Literally on water and has a great atmosphere. Do expect to wait during busy time, but well worth it. I mostly get mixed fajitas and the best I've had compared to any Mexican restaurant... in my opinion.

It was fantastic. The food was delicious. Great and unique menu. Atmosphere and decor were exactly like the name implies. The view of lake Austin is wonderful. Setting lake side enjoying a drink with great food, was truly a awesome experience.

Love this place! Every time I visit Austin, this place is a MUST! The environment compliments the restaurant and their theme. Food is great, quality and quantity are worth the price, and not that pricey. Atmosphere is always lively, very popular place. Parking to me seems to be an issue but if you wait, you will find something. If i could give more stars I would. Suggestion: Houston has lake Houston, and the Woodlands has the waterway. Would be GREAT if hula hut opened up any of those locations.
OH! Dont forget to try their famous key lime pie, my kids loved it.
