    A really great place to get chicken! The menu is small but perfected! Also they have pebble ice.

    Ordered the Catfish and fries. I have been going here for about 2 years and the food never disappoints. I have been to Golden Chicks all around Austin and the surrounding area but the one on North Lamar and Rutland is by far the best. The breading is always light and crispy and the chicken is never dry or overcooked. The main reason to go here is for the delicious yeast rolls and pepper gravy.

    Got the golden roast 2 piece. Very good with a side salad. Friendly service and short wait time. Very pleased. The best part of the meal was the yeast roll.
