Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que Austin

The BBQ is delicious and cooked to perfection. So are their (complimentary) beans. My serving of meat had too much fat in it, but when raised to the manager, Brian, he immediately returned our money. There’s a long line, but it moves quickly. Friendly staff, cold beers and mouth-watering meat; what else could you ask for?

Wow very good and reasonable price. I got brisket and a rib. They have a whole bar of sides (onions, pickles, beans, sauce, and bread). It was delicious!! The line was long at lunch but if you go around 1pm, the line died down. I also got bacon jalapeno Mac n cheese which was pretty good but a little watery/less flavorful for my taste. I would definitely eat there again.

I remember not being able to finish my meal, and I can put away food. They have so many different sauces, they let you make your own toast. So many nice touches at this modern and friendly eatery.

The most flavorful barbecue I had on my long weekend in Austin. The brisket that they smoked was amazing. Just thinking about it makes me hungry all over again! The sides were just okay and was the peach cobbler. The service was friendly and quick. I would definitely eat here again!
