Café Mueller by H-E-B

I purchased on 04/05/19 a full loaded brisket baked potato and was ready to get into it. And bam to my surprise just meat and potato. NO CHEESE, SOUR CREAM NOR CHIVES. Now I have to wait until I get home after 5pm to fix a $8 plus dollar potato!

A small but great selection of Texas beers on tap. Staff is personable and attentive. It's nice that happy hour is long and you get a good value on a large mug of beer, and it's a convenient stop if you're in the neighborhood.

It used to be a great draw. Inexplicably, recent changes nixed the happy hour food menu (no more pizza, off the menu entirely), and lopped off the awesome little Sunday brunch (damn good biscuits - and hot!). If not for the folks working here I'd only give 2 stars. Maybe this is management's way of getting me to try out the Hancock HEB. OK fellas, I'm game!

The Mueller HEB itself is one of the best HEB's in Austin. They have a great selection of really great and healthy food here and the cafe is simply amazing.

The cafe itself is outstanding and has very great food and good space for sitting, especially outside where the atmosphere gets a few steps cooler with the colorful water wall and live music. This is one of the only grocery store cafes that I'd recommend you to check out for lunch outings with co-workers, meetings, and even a small party or two with friends.

Due to its location in Mueller there are a ton of other activities in the area that you could certainly go and enjoy after a delicious meal here.
