The meat was smoked well but was not very flavorful and lacked moisture. My guess is that the quality of the meat is not great from the start or it would be championed as high quality.
If you're looking for great BBQ I would take my search elsewhere, though the atmosphere is lively and festive and there are great views from the balcony.

Nice time as the sun set over the hills. Good BBQ brisket. Excellent baked potato with trimmings. I will skip the famous sweet bread in the future.

Excellent BBQ. great service. Good view. Outside and inside seating. Google directions could be better as driveway slightly obscure.

Awesome BBQ place. The atmosphere is great. Lots of seating outside with a great view. The food is really good. We got the all you can eat dinner. So much amazing BBQ. The beef ribs are too die for. The brisket was pretty amazing as well. The service was good and the staff was helpful and on top of it. Food came out really a quick. It's a great place to bring friends.

The service was on point. Very welcoming and attentive. I was not very impressed with the food. The marbled brisket was very bland, along with the Mac and cheese that really tasted like noodles in water. I was disappointed in the brisket as I was really hoping for flavorful brisket.

If the flavor was there in the brisket they would have another star. I had two other friends with me who both felt that their dishes were bland as well. Here is to hoping the kitchen adds some flavor to their dishes and sides.

Based on my visit, there are much better BBQ joints in Austin, but this place is not terrible either. Just need to step up the flavor game.
