Top Notch Hamburgers

enjoy coming here. The price is decent and the burgers are pretty good especially considering that there aren't a lot of mid range burger establishments in Austin anymore. The atmosphere used to be more like a 1970s living room but it has modernized a bit and feels a lot cleaner than it used to.

Went there today with my kids and we all had burgers which were delicious. Love the charcoal broil. It's fun too that the kids' meals come in the little paper retro cars. The only thing that would perfect the place for us would be a playground for the kids but they obviously don't have a place to put it.

I am not in the area often but when I am Top Notch is where I go. The fried chicken is delicious but my favorite is the cheeseburger. Onion rings are delicious too. The fried pie is also great if you like that kind of thing.

This us such a cool totally nostalgic Austin Drive In burger joint plus more. Fried shrimp and chicken leg dinners, killer onion rings.

And the car show on First Saturday is off the hook!! Hot cars, good food, and nice people...who could ask for more. Truly an old school flame broiled burger joint and they have live music on 1st Sat, with a old movie for the kids.
