Loved all of the accompanying dishes so you can create your own flavor combos. We got there just in time, around 6:30 before the mobs of people started to arrive around 7. The service was terrific, fast, warm smiles and the staff all had a collective effort. Be sure to say hi to the owner/host, he was the nicest guy and you can tell he took pride in his restaurant. We’ll definitely be back, but next time we’re trying the bbq table :)

Also - be sure to get the chicken dumplings to start

Always great. They have cleaned, updated and renovated the place. They also performed a menu update after the previous owner, who was also the sushi chef, retired. No more sushi is a bummer. Also, my favorite dish consisting of stir fried baby octopus is gone. I was initially sad that my favorite dish was gone but it forced me to try something new and I was not let down! They were busy for lunch and all the diners seemed content. I will always come back.

It was good but I wouldn't say that it was stellar and I would come back. The food was average and the place is definitely historic. They need to up their game given there are many other fantastic korean good food options in Austin now. The place is a little hard to find as it is tucked away near a small Chinese Zen garden. The service was okay and took a while. We requested a few things but didn't get it on time. We had to ask the waiter multiple times. The interior was a little dim and bland. The tofu soup was really great though, not so sure about the cold noodles. It is worth a one time try but I can't fully recommend it as a too option, there are a lot other better ones.
