Visiting from out of town and found this gem. First time eating Mediterranean food, and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed! Large dining area. Tons of awesome food. Pita bread fresh out of the brick oven couldn't be better.
It was our first time at this restaurant. My best friend and I love Mediterranean food. My fiancé and our daughter were with us as well and had never eaten this type of food before. They both enjoyed the food and went back for seconds! The food is amazing!! Freshly made, the tastes are wonderful! It definitely satisfied my craving that I had been having for over a month. We will be going back.
So, I have a really negative preconception regarding most buffets... Dimassi's completely shattered most of my preconceptions.
The food was warm. The establishment was clean. Hot coffee? Yes. Check. There are plenty of windows, so the room is abundantly lit. The wait and bus staff were so polite and smiley...
I ate until it hurt. I don't believe in wasting food and overloaded my plate (never eat or grocery shop with your eyes). I'm not typically a glutton for anything, but I guess some buffet stereotypes have their time and place.
Bottom line: THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS.
Eat here!
Great place to sample all Mediterranean food even 2 types of Baklava.. I was there with friends and all we got was extremely fresh, delicious and to our hearts desires. Try the tamarind water and their artichoke salad great items for a meal.
Ladies restroom was gross. First stall had NO TOILET SEAT!!!!! Food was delicious. We normally go to the SA location, but decided to visit Atx for oils and spices and stop in here. This lady at the register made sure to mention they are owned by a different family from the SA location. It shows. Food quality and presentation was much nicer. The garlic sauce was all wrong though. Normally can eat that by the gallon, here it tasted like chemicals. Couldn't eat it after initial tasting. Slightly larger menu and better preparations of foods, breads are fresh, more dessert options. Will try again in a few months, hopefully they have a toilet seat for us women when I return.
