Nice little downtown farmhouse turned events venue turned restaurant. Complete with a handful of peafowl, this is a nice place to have brunch or a wedding. Food was very good, especially the brunch offerings of mini donuts and fried chicken Benedict. Service was quick and friendly, although coffee refills sometimes took longer to happen than I'd like.

A beautiful setting, with real peacocks roaming around! The building with wrap-around porch is stunning and the food delicious. The backyard is very dreamy, with lights strung and oak trees all around. I went for brunch and look forward to trying dinner sometime soon. We showed up at 11 (party of 2) and had no trouble getting in.

Austin brunch meets southern plantation vibes.

Located in what looks like to be a southern plantation style house, Mattie’s serves excellent brunch fare in the many rooms of the house.

I ordered the duck confit and it was amazing, with the oozing duck eggs to add to the overall yummy experience. The brunch is simple, but they execute it well and there are a bunch of wait staff to help in case you need more water or coffee

This place is beautiful and quiet. It is tucked in a nice neighborhood of Austin. Great especially if you want to get away from downtown, but not wonder too far. The brunch menu was ok. Great drinks and friendly staff. Make a reservation in advanced, there will be a wait.

The place is nice. The service was excellent. Food was not as good as I thought it would be but it was definitely not bad. Went for brunch on Sunday so that is all I can comment on. It is worth checking out and deciding for yourself. I was not disappointed in the experience.
