Donn's BBQ

This is a good place for dine in. We received some ribs without meat on the bone when we got our food to go. Their sides are a little bland but the meat is good. I also like their breakfast. Decent bbq for the location. You won't find anything better in the area unless you want to drive downtown.

A nice local hangout, offering daily lunch specials that is not expensive and tastes great! The food comes out fast, you can dine in or take out. I enjoyed the BBQ chicken with 2 sides

BBQ brisket was excellent, I didn't try anything else but I was very pleased with the brisket it was tender and delicious. The BBQ sauce was excellent as well. I just wish they would've had hash browns I ended up settling with mashed potatoes.

I stopped and ordered for a family get together February 4, 2019. I’ve been patronizing this location since Donn himself owned and operated this location in the 1980’s. I go there often, breakfast is always great! The bbq plates and sides are always great and delicious. But here’s my gripe: Today I ordered 2 pounds of brisket, 2 pounds of sausage, 1 quart of beans, 1 quart of coleslaw, and 1 quart of rice. They said $78.80. I asked are you sure? They said yes, I paid but left thinking that can’t be right, I continued to think I’ve never paid that much before.
They advertise a family deal 3 pounds of meat and 4 sides (pints) and it is $49.95. So my advise is order their special price deals or you’ll pay out the nose. I wouldn’t recommend anyone cater a function with them because if you go and freestyle on your order and don’t order off the menu and prices painted on their wall you get fuzzy math when your price is calculated.

Very good BBQ place not far from our house. We came right as they were closing and ordered chopped beef sandwiches. You've got to dress your own sandwich, but they offer packets of mayo, bottles of ketchup and mustard, and sliced pickles. We want to come back and try the awesome blue Bell ice cream flavors they have.
