    Food is always great but the customer service is horrible! They messed up on my order and when I asked the girl her name she says Jose???? I do not appreciate games nor my time being wasted! She then said "okay I am Nancy the one who took your order!" Ugh kids working these days

    They didn't have the mango shake avaliable when I went so I opted for the blueberry which was great. They fill it all the way to the point of almost spilling from the cup, but it wasn't a problem because I shared with a friend who also thought it was great. Also ordered a burrito which was huge and a little but greasy for my tastes. Their staff is bilingual and very helpful and curteous.

    Great tasting charcoal grilled chicken. Totally a hole in the wall, but chicken is really well grilled (thoroughly cooked but tender and juicy), and sides taste good too. We had rice, beans and plantains. Definitely a great option for "non fast food" in South Austin.

    Oh my good GOD, if you haven't tried this place, you HAVE TO before you leave this Earth! This is the BEST chicken I've ever had in my entire life and I would sell my kidney if it meant I could keep eating here. THANK YOU, EL POLLO RICO!!!

    The best Char Grilled Chicken in Texas. Friendly, fast and consistency are key here. Did I mention the food is authentically Texan and the fill of the spice that is San Antonio.
