Kerbey Lane Cafe - South

Always great, especially if you want something other than fast food late at night. Their breakfast is obviously incredible. Lunch and dinner deserve more love! They have great food even if you aren't in the mood for breakfast.

Locally owned with several locations
here in Austin. The one l like is on South
Lamar. They are really busy at lunch time
every day. There is plenty of space inside and a patio area that permits pets.
They have a versatile menu that supports most appetites for families,
children or the individual seated at the
counter. A 24 hour restaurant, lots of parking, friendly atmosphere, great
service, moderately priced with as many
coffee refills on the house as you want!

We went to the Kerby Lane Cafe on South Lamar next to Half Price Books. They serve breakfast at all times which is wonderful. We each enjoyed our meal, the waiter was great and we left feeling great, ready for an evening of getting house chores done for me and for my husband to work on the current book he is writing.

Great spot for quick bite / breakfast food. Consistent. Good for larger groups. Easy parking. Relatively low cost. Can get busy, particularly during Sunday morning and early afternoon. Casual atmosphere. Orders taken at the table. Counter seating available. Alsways friendly and good service.

Decent food. 24 hours makes it better. Dogs welcome in the outside dining area. Decent acoustics so you shouldn't feel to anxious when it's busy. Service has normally been good. Decent lighting. All that together mashes the place a good spot to eat. Especially if you're up late.
