Guys! If you haven't been to this food truck you're missing out!
I went for the second time this past week and was not disappointed. I did however order way too much food for one person. Ha.
I had the barbacoa avocado which was to die for! It's basically all the fixings of a barbacoa street taco on top of a half of an avocado. It is also served on top of a slice of bread. That was plenty of food for a meal for one person. It was super flavorful and seasoned well!
I also ordered the side of Mac and cheese and it was delicious as well. I would've like a tiny bit more salt in that but I cannot complain on the overall taste.
Will be coming back to taste one of everything on the menu.
Love, love love... I'm had the beef cheek plate. They told me they smoke it 4 to 6 hours. It was like savory candy! Their BBQ sauce was vinegar and pepper base. Very good. I had their Mac and cheese it was good. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and overall great experience.
Amazing BBQ. Went with what the pitmaster recommended and had the beef cheeks with a side of mac and cheese. Knocked them both out of the park! Beef cheeks had incredible texture and was so flavorful. Mac and cheese was perfect, "stick to your ribs, love you long time" good. Really nice guys running the truck, clearly love what they do. My next trip to Austin will definitely involve stopping by again.
One of my preferred spots for BBQ. Good place to hang and eat some good food. The staff was helpful and kind. The place has a good feel to it. Atmosphere is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I loved.
Great meats. I've enjoyed the food every time I've been. Think of this as BBQ with a little something extra. The meats offered are typically traditional and the sides are a bit more adventurous which culminates in a pretty solid experience. I'm excited for their brick and mortar location in another year or two.
