Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

I ate there twice during my stay in Austin. The first night I had the New York strip. The meat was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The meat practically melted in my mouth. The second night I had the bone in rib eye. Just when I thought it couldn't get better it did. The prices are not for the budget eater, but the atmosphere, service, and food was uncanny. Looking forward to coming back.

The food here is pretty solid, with the only exception being the lobster ravioli. The filling of the lobster ravioli was delicious but the outside was a bit thick and rubbery. Although it took a bit longer to get the food the staff was quite friendly and pleasant. I wish I could rate 4.5 starts because that's what it was. The steak was perfectly cooked, the roasted carrots and candied nuts were excellent, and the lobster macaroni was excellently balanced.

Went Fleming’s for our anniversary, they gave us such a great experience. The staff AND food were wonderful. We were given champagne, a congratulatory card, free appetizer and dessert, I couldn’t believe it. Our waiter was kind, professional and knowledgeable. We ordered a salad and the Tomahawk steak (enough for two). The steak was perfectly cooked with just enough seasoning to let you enjoy the natural flavors of the steak. I enjoyed my experience here and hope to go back soon.

What started out to be an ALMOST rocky experience turned into a very lovely evening! Josh went above and beyond to make sure we received top notch service. He was very VERY nice, professional and attentive. This was my husband and I's first time dining here and the food is simply amazing ! I really do not think you can go wrong with anything ordered but we are still raving about the steak and side order of mushrooms although everything we consumed was cooked to perfection. We're not from Austin but we're definitely looking forward to visiting the Houston location and if we're ever in Austin again, we'll be sure to come back.

One of the best experiences for a night of dining. Company dinner for an individual leaving and it was a great atmosphere and the food was excellent! Steak was cooked to perfection and service was absolutely wonderful! Our waitress was one of the best servers that I have ever had. I will be planning a return soon simply because she was so awesome!
