I had a hard time feeling at home in Austin until i waltzed into Hi Hat a few weeks ago. I’ve been back ten times and I love the entire staff. They make everyone feel at home. Each member of the team has a great palate for beer (their rotating list is phenomenal). I also recommend getting a different thing on the menu each time you’re there. They even change their pizza toppings weekly (and the sauce is up to standard for a fussy New Yorker like myself). Seriously; get your butt to Hi Hat. It’s the best.

I live right around the corner from this place and the only reason I stopped by was because it seemed to have a good vibe. IM SO HAPPY I DECIDED TO GO! The music, $3 mimosas, and the absolutely AMAZING food, is the reason I now go every Sunday.

    Also the staff is great!

This place is right up my alley. It was cool, quaint, and had a real Austin vibe to it. The staff was friendly, and there was something charming about the eclectic, mix match glass ware.

The food was great; both of us enjoyed every part of our meal. They do NOT have sweet tea, which is weird in Austin, but they do sell Yaupon tea which is locally grown and tastes sweet with no artificial sweetener.

The staff was super sweet. They told me all about the tea, where I can find it, shared some info on local markets, etc. From food to friendliness, I recommend this place.

The only weird thing about this place is you have to go outside to get to the bathroom, but it is cool in its own way, too.
