We love the food here. The Village Tacos are a great item, along with the Green Chicken Enchiladas and even the Fish Plate. They have a great happy hour, though the hours recently changed. Two people can easily order a drink and appetizer for less than $30 during happy hour.

This is hands down the best tasting Tex-Mex restaurant I have been to in Austin or the surrounding areas. It is modestly priced and the service is excellent. It is usually very busy such that there might be a wait (I have been told 45 minutes at lunch time) but in my experience, regardless of the time we are given, we get in much quicker. Despite how busy it may be, the servers are always quick to refill glasses and chips. Speaking of, the chips and salsa are delicious and fresh, and the sweet tea is excellent. I have never had a bad experience at Amaya's Taco Village. NOTE: They do have a vegetarian safe enchilada sauce that tastes almost identical to the one with the chili gravy and both are delicious.

Great and speedy service I was never displeased, from the time I got there till the time I left. Even though it was busy we were seated within 5 minutes and weren't rushed to order. Food was great will definitely recommend.
