EL POLLO RICO #11

This place just opened and the menu looked interesting so we were excited to go try it . The line in the Drive-Thru was long ,yes, but somehow that seemed like a good sign. A lot of people wanted to eat there! We enjoyed our food and will probably go back to try some other menu items. However, I was very surprised to see a tip jar at the drive-thru! I've never heard of anything like that before. It almost made me feel a little uncomfortable.

I usually go through the drive-thru. This is a new place out on Slaughter Lane. The way was a little long. But the place itself outside is wonderful. The young lady who gave me the food was not very friendly. But food does take over and you can forgive anybody for being rude. Overall I recommend this place the name says it all.

Chicken is really good. Their green salsa is probably my favorite. I wouldn’t expect them to open on time though. Online says they open at 8. Came at 8:20 and no one was answering the drive thru. Decided to go inside and all the chairs were still up and the menu wasn’t turned on. The worker said they were open but nothing was ready. I don’t see a point in being open at 8 if you aren’t going to be ready by 8. Might as well just open at 9 so they can actually serve on time. Other than that, I like this place. Just don’t come too early.

The first day opened and I can already tell it's going to become a favorite place. The employees here are nice. The service and speed here is great. The food can't be topped. Already loving this place and I'm loving the inside look.
