Interesting blend between Japanese and Texas cuisine. A nice date night for the wife and I. Very cool ambiance and helpful staff. Recommend for the adventurous eater and those that want a good spot late
Texas-Japan fusion food. BBQ meets sushi and it works. Steakhouse ambiance with Japanese styled service (rushed, curt, and efficient). The food quality is top-shelf. Similar to a tapas menu, each item is modestly portioned, reasonably priced, and good for sharing. They even offer whiskey flights for tasting Japanese whiskey, by which I was surprised to find a new personal favorite. Limited parking and difficult to access, but worth the effort.
Exceptional place. The corn has absolutely blown me away. It's a little pricey, but maybe that's because I wanted to try so many things. Their cocktails are funny and delicious as well.
Creative menu and excellent staff! Bring your appetite and bring your wallet. Dinner for two was $120 out the door. My favorite was the squid in squid guts and Japanese bbq pork ribs. Truly a unique experience. Cant wait to go back!
This place is Fire! Tapas style Japanese- BBQ fusion! Service is on point. Decor is perfect for the concept. Drinks were solid and great compliment for the concept. Make reservations!!! Food prices were below what I would expect. Drink prices were a bit higher than I would expect but it averaged out to a great value. Austin has a lot of solid culinary establishments but this one goes on my list of top restaurants in Austin.
