The Rolling Rooster

A total surprise. Didn't even know this place existed, a complete random find, but a great one at that. This place isn't fancy, very laid back, great prices on happy hour drinks. The food was delicious. The chicken had a nice spice to it. The mac and cheese was awesome! We were fighting for it at my table. A good little spot if you ever in the neighborhood.

I enjoyed the Rolling Rooster today with my family. They came from Houston and it was our first time. Wow is the word that captures our experience. Customer service was great and loved their honesty about the wait time for food arrival. The diverse casual atmosphere made the time past quickly of laughter and interaction. The food was very good and hit the spot. Now, I would encourage you to try it for yourself and see if you agree.

I just love this place!!! I saw a chicken and waffles sign on the back on the shopping center and turning into the parking lot immediately! The ladies were so nice and helpful! I loved the food. They said they are working on healthy options too, so that's good. I would post a pic, but it was too good and I ate it all!

That's good chicken! Actually that's great chicken! Worth the wait every time. Keep it coming guys, I cant get enough. It's kind of like that scene with Will Farrel in the movie old school. It tastes so good when it touches your lips!

Quaint little restaurant. Friendly staff. Great music playing.

We got Wings & Waffles and Strips & Waffles and a side of okra.

The chicken wings and strips were cooked hot and to perfection and seasoned impeccably. Add some syrup or hot sauce and they are even better than imagined.

The waffles were incredibly light and airy. The perfect compliment to the chicken.

Ladies restroom was clean.

The only two "downs" that I personally see? 1) the Ranch dressing had some vinegar flavor to it. So much so that we couldn't eat it. 2) the amount of syrup caked on the outside of the dispenser was just, well, gross. Both can be easily fixed. Seriously, warm water and a clean cloth could go a long way.

We'll definitely be back and be looking for the minor improvements.
